Hello, I'm Justin Taylor. I'm a Savannah, GA native, a Marine Corps. Veteran, backpacker, traveler, and obsessed photographer. In 2002 I picked up my first camera and immediately fell in love with the art of photography. After years of shooting landscapes and traveling, I began to photograph the human form. At first, it challenged me to overcome my introverted nature, but then figure photography became my passion. When I realized that my photographs are a way to show other people a different side of themselves that changed their self-image, I was hooked and Velvet Light was born.

My personal approach to boudoir photography is to create photographs that look intimate and natural. I treat every photo as a commissioned work of art, personalized for each client. I personally direct every pose and movement to give a personal look and to insure you look amazing.
