There's no doubt about it. Boudoir is an intimate experience. You're choosing to open up and share a side of yourself that you consider private. Every client that I've ever had the pleasure of working with has been nervous before their session. Nerves are completely natural. Don't worry. I'm here to help ease your concerns and guide you through the entire process.

How much should I expect to spend?
Investment options start at $550 and payment plans are available.

How do I book a session?
To start, fill out the contact form HERE and tell me a bit about yourself. After that I will contact you and set up a time for a quick phone call to go over what I offer, answer any questions you may have and to see if I'm the best fit for what you are looking for. If you decide to move forward, I require a $300 deposit to hold and book your session. This $300 will later be credited towards your images and products. After that, we will pick a day and time for your boudoir session and set up hair and makeup(more on this below).

How do I prepare for my shoot?
After you decide to book a session and you have signed the paperwork, I will send out a detailed set of emails with information on how to prepare, how to best select outfits, what to bring to your shoot, and what to expect during your session. This ensures that you will get all of the information you need to make your shoot spectacular.

What should I do for my hair and makeup?
Professional hair and makeup are provided as a complimentary service with each boudoir session. I have partnered up with Hustle and Blow Dry Bar here in Savannah so that you'll look amazing in your photos! Even if you enjoy doing your hair and makeup, I would encourage you to take the day off. Jess and her team do a fantastic job. Let them pamper you so that you can relax before your shoot.

What should I wear?
Each client will receive an outfit guide that has many different ideas. You should decide on clothing and lingerie that fits well, makes you feel confident and allows your personality to show through. I do not provide any of the wardrobe. It is best to bring a selection of the clothing you are thinking about wearing and at the start of your session we will pick four outfits that I feel will work best with my photography.

What if I don't know how to pose or be "sexy"?
One of the biggest concerns I hear from all my clients is that "I don't know how to pose or be sexy." I've got you covered! At the beginning of each session, I walk everyone through the posing process and guide you throughout the entire shoot to get the right shots.

When will I see my images?
We will get together about a week after your boudoir photoshoot for your image reveal in which we will go through approximately 75-100 images from your session. You decide which images and products to purchase at this time. Friends and significant others are also welcome to attend your reveal as well but I ask that you give me a heads up beforehand.

What kind of products do you offer?
I take pride in finding amazing ways to present your images. I believe in the value of printed photographs and the value of holding beautiful things in your hands. I offer breathtaking European made albums of the highest quality, fine art prints which are printed on museum grade paper that are intended to last the test of time, and stunning high gloss wall art prints on aluminum panels.

Do you share my photos?
My highest priority when shooting boudoir is trust and making the client feel comfortable. Your boudoir photos are kept confidential unless you give me written permission to use them which is entirely up to you. Every photo on my website and social media has been used with consent of the subject. I appreciate when people allow me to use their images because it gives other women an idea of what a boudoir experience is like. I also enjoy sharing them in the Velvet Light Boudoir women-only Facebook group. Group members are always supportive and excited to see new images

Do you Have any other questions?
I'd love to hear from you.
